Energy Technologies

what we do

Our certified Energy Auditors have the experience and expertise to analyze the energy behavior of buildings in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors, through on-site measurements with our specialized equipment.

Our strength is the ability to identify each client’s individual needs and provide tailor-madesolutions to maximize energy efficiency. The energy audits are carried out in accordance with the following national and international laws and standards:

  • Greek law 4342/2015 (Government Gazette A 143/9-11-2015)
  • EN 16247-2 Energy Audits
  • ASHRAE Level 1, 2, 3: Procedures for Commercial Building Energy Audits

We have multiple specialized, and continuously calibrated instruments, including five energy analyzers fully compliant with the IEC 61000 power quality standard, a high precision thermocamera and an indoor audit instrument compliant with EN 61557 and EN 61010 standards.

After the energy audit is completed, we search for funding opportunities to finance and/or subsidize the resulting energy interventions. Additionally, we undertake the preparation and submission of files/applications to ΕΣΠΑ, ΕΟΧ or other funding tools, while also offering technical support for the supervision and commissioning of the projects.

We have successfully supported public and private sector bodies, in their goal for energy sustainable buildings.

Our engineers, hold Class A, B & C licenses and have the right to carry out energy inspections in buildings of all categories and uses and heating/air-conditioning systems regardless of thermal and cooling capacity.

We have extensive experience in upgrading large-scale, energy-intensive buildings such as Hospitals, Sports Facilities (indoor Gyms and Swimming Pools), Hotels, Educational Institutions, Office buildings.

At the same time, we have prepared multiple Energy Efficiency Plans for Public Buildings (Σ.Ε.Α.Κ.) according to Greek Law 4342/2015.

The services provided include

  • Conduct energy inspections and issue Energy Performance Certificates,
  • Formulate proposals for Energy Saving and Renewable Energy Sources interventions
  • Determine each proposal's budget and then evaluate it's economic viability
  • Undertake the licensing procedure (permits and authorizations)
  • Prepare and submit the Energy Upgrade Plan to a suitable funding program
  • Complete the necessary electromechanical studies
  • Support the client throughout the tender process and assist with the contractor selection
  • Supervise and monitor the project

We have extensive experience in the evaluation, development and supervision of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and Combined Heat & Cooling (CHP) projects.

Since 2006, we have supported private and public organizations in proposing, designing, financing and implementing RES & CHP projects.

Our engineers hold Case Study Researcher's Degrees (Class A and Class B) in Category 14 - Renewable Energy Sources, necessary for the preparation and completion of public sector studies.

We have successfully developed and supported:

  • CHP units for electricity, heating and cooling
  • Biomass-fired power plants
  • Biogas-fired power plants
  • Photovoltaic stations
  • Small-scale geothermal power plants

 Renewable Energy Sources

We provide specialized technical consultancy services which include:

  • carry out measurements, and then calculate and evaluate the available renewable energy potential
  • prepare studies to assess the economic viability of the investments
  • undertake the entire licensing procedure (producer's affirmation, environmental licensing, connection offer application, installation and operation license, etc.)
  • complete the implementation study including the "as-built" plans
  • support the client throughout the tender process and assist with the contractor selection
  • supervise and monitor in order to ensure the on-time and smooth completion of the project

Our properly calibrated instruments allow us to monitor photovoltaic systems and determine the I-V characteristic curve,  in accordance with IEC/EN 62446.

Combined Heat & Power

By combining our expertise in CHP systems and our experience in energy audits, we are able to provide reliable and efficient CHP solutions which include:

  • sizing the CHP unit
  • examine the CHP unit's viability both technically and economically
  • undertake the entire licensing procedure (producer's affirmation, environmental licensing, connection offer application, installation and operation license, etc.)
  • complete the implementation study including the "as-built" plans
  • support the client throughout the tender process and assist with the contractor selection
  • supervise and monitor in order to ensure the on-time and smooth completion of the project

We combine our expertise and specialized software to provide reliable design and electromechanical design services.

The design of the facilities meets all relevant safety and energy efficiency standards, with priority given to the integration of Renewable Energy Sources and/or Combined Heat and Power Systems, where economically feasible.
